To build the digital sales assistant, we utilize the most recent state of the art algorithms in information retrieval, machine learning and data processing to provide information about construction projects to our customers in the way they need it, when they need it.

As a back-end engineer, your job is to manage the exchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Your Tasks

+ Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
+ Building reusable code and libraries for future use
+ Navigate our platform through an intense scale, both data- and user-wise
+ Ensure that our backend is fast and reliable

Your Profile

+ You have at least three years of experience working with MVC Frameworks
+ When it comes to system architecture, you like having things neat and clean
+ You know how to keep a SQL database fast, containing hundreds of millions of items
+ You work independently and have a good understanding of API design
+ “Nice-to-have”: You have experience with Python, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch
