Data Pipeline Engineer (full-time)

At Building Radar, you will work with complex and highly interconnected data. Each week, millions of data items are processed via our streaming data pipeline. This data is essential to the success of Building Radar customers. To provide the data in a fast and intuitive way it requires a sophisticated infrastructure, based on Kubernetes and several NoSQL Clusters.
As a Data Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for our precious data pipeline and database clusters to ensure growth and scalability. You’ll balance speed, quality, and reliability to get the right solution deployed to our customers today.
Your tasks
+ Manage the Data Pipeline Services and develop new modules
+ Manage database systems and Kubernetes clusters to support growing distributed workloads
+ Design and build best practices for security, monitoring, and logging systems
+ Support the CI/CD infrastructure
Your profile
+ 3+ years experience in Software Engineering and/or DevOps
+ Experience in deploying large-scale infrastructure in the cloud
+ Ability to manage competing priorities, focus on shipping and work well under pressure
+ Attention to detail and a passion for correctness while still wanting to get things done
+ You work independently and want to push the limits of our tech stack

Backend Product Engineer (full-time)

Machine Learning Engineer (full-time)

Customer Success Manager (full-time)

Our customer base quadrupled since early 2016. In 2017 we want to expand our customer success team to cope with the increasing amount of client requests. We are, thus, looking to strengthen our ranks with a Customer Success Manager for our headquarter in Munich. She or he will be responsible for every interaction with won clients with the ultimate goal to train and guide our customers to meet their expectations and eventually extend their subscription. Additionally, she or he will be responsible for collecting customer feedback and translate it into new product features and help refine the internal processes.

Our customer base quadrupled since early 2016 without any significant marketing spend yet. In 2017 we want to expand our sales team to cope with the increasing amount of client requests. We are currently looking for a “Sales Representative” to play a key role in helping us continue our rapid pace of growth. She or he will be responsible for generating a high volume of quality leads for the sales team to drive sales revenue.

We are currently looking for talented students to play a key role in helping us continue our rapid pace of growth. She or he will be responsible for a range of revenue-driving task. She or he would be involved in a range of different activities like lead generation and qualification, customer onboarding, customer segmentation, product versioning, product pricing. (This could result in a full-time position in case you are graduating soon.)

Content Marketing (paid internship, working student)

Since the go-to-market start, Building Radar enjoyed growth without investing heavily in marketing. We already want to build the structures today that will ensure a continuing growth story in the long run. Thus, we are looking for a structured and self-thinking working student or intern (paid), willing to take on responsibility in creating lasting content marketing structures. Together with former employees at Google and Freeletics, you will be responsible for content creation, content distribution, and analytics. Advance our existing reach on XING and LinkedIn and create reach on new channels. (This could result in a full-time position in case you are graduating soon.)

Our engineering team’s responsibility is to find all construction-related information in real-time and provide these to our customers in an easy-to-use interface. Our message-oriented data-pipeline is modular, distributed, asynchronous and based on technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis and Docker/Kubernetes. We heavily rely on Microservices to enhance our data through Machine Learning and have integrated a full Quality Assurance and Data Inspection Stack.
